Harley Street Medical Association, BID Proposal Launch -

The Harley Street Area Partnership was created in 2019 following a feasibility study by The Howard de Walden Estate.

The aim is to bring key stakeholders together around a table with the shared value of seeing the Harley Street Area develop and continually grow into a sustainable, secure and globally recognised business improvement district (BID).

The Harley Street Area boasts being a distinguished medical area of excellence in the U.K., with a celebrated history dating back to the 1800s.

The discovery of the mosquito transmission of malaria by Sir Ronald Ross, as well as the invention of the “living eye impression” technique by Josef Dallos were all discovered here. Through history the area has been renowned for delivering exceptional patient care through pioneering treatment and ground breaking technology.

Based in the heart of the city of London, the Harley Street Area gives visitors access to excellent transport routes across the area such as Great Portland Street Station, Regents Park Station, Baker Street, and Bond Street, making the area highly accessible and a vibrant shopping district close to Marylebone High Street and Oxford Circus nearby.

Businesses in the Harley Street area have now been asked to vote on the Harley Street Area Partnership’s BID Proposal. The result of the ballot will be announced on Friday 3 December 2021.
